Airdrops should reward the people who actually built, tested, and carried the work forward. This allocation recognizes contributors across our community, including committed Sentient Chat users, top voices, and external researchers that advanced our open-source work significantly, with strong Sybil protection to keep it fair.
The Airdrop Registration Portal is live. Connect the wallets and accounts you used to contribute and test to check your eligibility. Use only links from Sentient’s official channels, and take your time.

Over the past year, moderators and the community team have evaluated thousands of contributions across our Season 1 tracks, including artists, developers, educators, and helpers. We are profoundly grateful for the time, craft, and consistency this community has invested, which is why this allocation recognizes community contributors.
As people contributed, they progressed through Early, Advanced, and Sentient AGI levels. Role holders at these levels will be rewarded. Approximately 1,067 community members earned a qualifying role and will be recognized.

Sentient Chat Users
The GRID is our way to make intelligence open, discoverable, composable, and shared. Sentient Chat is one of many interfaces into the GRID where people experience products and research from Sentient and the community. It will be fully open-source soon so anyone can fork anything and improve it in their own way.
Eligibility for this segment was scored on three signals:
- Genuine and helpful queries (not AI-generated, not single words, and not sample prompts)
- Consistent activity (number of days with at least one genuine query, with more weight on recent participation)
- Helpful feedback (reports that identify issues in the system and propose concrete product improvements)
To identify the most dedicated contributors eligible for the airdrop, we employed a Three-Layer validation gate for fairness and eliminating farmers through an internal formula based on the three dimensions above, AI grading, and human sampling.
Even in closed beta, Sentient Chat saw:
- More than 290,000 unique users
- Over 22,000,000 queries answered
- About 50,000 average monthly active users
Sentient Labs exists to bring state-of-the-art open-source reasoning into the real world, which requires testing, iteration, and constant improvement under real-world conditions. Sentient Chat users helped inspire work like Open Deep Search, ROMA, and upcoming releases from the Sentient Chat stack. Top Voices of Sentient
Since launch, the top voices and Yappers have propelled and sustained Sentient at leading mindshare for months. Rather than setting one hard line, we evaluated genuine long-term contributions using raw activity, mindshare, tweet volume, impressions, engagement, and impact. We included a broader set compared to typical projects, looking beyond any single leaderboard.
Additionally, we eliminated thresholds, being one of the only projects with such an accessible community to join and educate others, ensuring that all people were considered for rewards based on their social activity. Suspected bots were removed and ALL contributions have been incorporated into the original analysis.
Yappers who continue to contribute will be eligible for an airdrop in Season 2. A portion of $SENT will be allocated to top Kaito stakers, with Kaito supporting this program as a data and marketing collaborator.
Open-Source Researchers
Open-source AI is a research movement that advances through sharing code, data, and results people can reproduce. Our research delivers methods and benchmarks that hold up under peer review, including OML for cryptographically enforced control, scalable fingerprinting at large key counts with negligible utility loss, ROMA for orchestration, and Open Deep Search for grounded retrieval. Several of these works have appeared at top conferences such as NeurIPS.
We included external researchers who shaped Sentient’s agenda by collaborating with us, reviewing drafts, contributing datasets or evaluations, or citing and building on our work. Recognition spans independent researchers and those working within universities or labs.
This is a first step that reflects tangible contributions to methods, benchmarks, and transparency. As our footprint grows we will deepen support for researchers who keep frontier work open and verifiable.
In recognition of open source contributions, ~2% of the total airdrop is allocated to external researchers who have helped advance Sentient’s research and infrastructure.
Airdrop Logistics
Sybil Protection
We applied strong sybil protection in list curation and registration. The Airdrop Checker partners with Billions for proof of uniqueness. Each person can connect only one Sentient Chat account, one Discord, and one Twitter.
Multi-account attempts are filtered so allocations reach real individuals and not farms. During verification, you will complete a brief proof of uniqueness that uses a one-time selfie to create a zero-knowledge proof. The image is not stored on our side and is used only to attest that a single human is behind the accounts. Your privacy is preserved. Follow the on-screen steps carefully. Once you submit, you will not be able to add more accounts.
How to Check Eligibility
Once you connect the accounts used for contribution, the checker will confirm your eligibility. It will not display allocation amounts. Beware of fake sites; only use links shared on Sentient’s official channels. If you encounter any technical issues, please reach out to our official Discord server for assistance.
